A hand pallet truck in Kuwait costs from 75.000 KD, an electric pallet jack from 289.000 KD, and a stand-on electric stacker that raises 2 tonnes to 3 metres is 1,599.000 KD. Everything between those two numbers is decided by one question: do you need to move a pallet along the floor, or lift it onto racking?
A hand pallet truck lifts the forks about 195 mm — just enough to roll. A stacker lifts to 1.6 m or 3 m. They look similar, they cost twenty times apart, and buying the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in this category. Below is the whole range at Bab Al-Saif in Shuwaikh with the four measurements that decide it: fork length, fork width, lift height and turning radius.
Pallet trucks, stackers and forklifts: the range
| Machine | Capacity | Lift height | Forks | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hand pallet truck, manual | 3 tonnes | Roll height only | 550 × 1200 mm | 75.000 KD |
| Hand pallet truck, wide fork | 3, 4 or 5 tonnes | 85 mm lowered to 195 mm | 685 × 1220 mm | 90.000 KD |
| Scissor lift table cart | 300 kg | 290 mm to 900 mm | Flat deck 80 × 50 cm | 105.000 KD |
| Electric pallet jack, 48 V 20 Ah | 2 tonnes | 8 cm to 20 cm | 115 cm long, 55 cm outer | 289.000 KD |
| Electric stacker, 1.6 m mast | 1 tonne | 80 mm to 1.6 m | 1150 mm long, 550 mm wide | 399.000 KD |
| Electric pallet jack, 48 V 30 Ah | 2 tonnes | 8.5 cm to 20 cm | 115 cm long, 55 cm outer | 689.000 KD |
| Stand-on electric stacker, 3 m mast | 2 tonnes | 9 cm to 3 m | 115 cm long, adjustable to 72 cm | 1,599.000 KD |
Prices are the lowest listed option on each product, read from Shopify on the day of writing. The main range is in electric forklifts and pallet jacks, with the manual side in lifting equipment.
Hand pallet truck or electric stacker?
Four differences, and the first one decides it on its own.
- Lift height. A hand pallet truck raises the forks from 85 mm to 195 mm — about 11 cm of travel, enough to clear the floor and no more. An electric stacker goes to 1.6 m at 399.000 KD or 3 m at 1,599.000 KD. If anything has to go onto a shelf, a hand pallet truck cannot do it at any price.
- Effort and speed. The manual truck has no battery and no charger: you pump the handle to lift and pull to move. The 689.000 KD electric jack travels at 0.8 m/s under full load and climbs an 8° slope; the 289.000 KD one lists a 5 to 8 hour battery run on 48 V 20 Ah.
- Weight of the machine itself. The 289.000 KD electric jack weighs 175 kg, the 689.000 KD one 465 kg net and 540 kg gross, and the 3 m stacker 590 kg. That is a floor-loading question in an upper-floor store and a delivery question at a loading door.
- Capacity you are paying for. 3 tonnes manual at 75.000 KD is more capacity than 2 tonnes electric at 289.000 KD. You are not buying capacity when you go electric; you are buying height, speed and not pumping a handle.
In between the two there is a third machine people forget: a scissor lift table cart at 105.000 KD, 300 kg on an 80 × 50 cm deck, raising from 290 mm to 900 mm. It has no forks and does not go under a pallet, but it brings a load up to bench height, which is what most workshop handling actually is.
Fork length and width against your pallet
Forks must go into the pallet and under the load. Three measurements, all of them on our product pages:
| Machine | Fork length | Single fork width | Width across the forks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hand pallet truck, 75.000 KD | 1200 mm | Not stated | 550 mm |
| Hand pallet truck, wide, 90.000 KD | 1220 mm | Not stated | 685 mm |
| Electric pallet jack, 289.000 KD | 115 cm | Not stated | 23 cm inside, 55 cm outside |
| Electric pallet jack, 689.000 KD | 115 cm | 16 cm | 23 cm inside, 55 cm maximum |
| Electric stacker, 1.6 m, 399.000 KD | 1150 mm | 15 cm | 550 mm |
| Electric stacker, 3 m, 1,599.000 KD | 115 cm | 16 cm | 67 cm legs, adjustable to 72 cm |
What to do with that table:
- Fork length should not exceed the pallet depth by much. A 1200 mm fork under a 1000 mm pallet leaves 200 mm sticking out the far side, into the next pallet or into the aisle. A 1220 mm wide-fork truck is for a bigger pallet, not a better one.
- Width across the forks must match the pallet's entry openings. 550 mm suits the standard footprint used in most stores here; 685 mm is for wider-set bearers. Measure the gap between the openings on the pallet you actually receive — not the pallet in the catalogue — because a 685 mm truck will not enter a 550 mm pallet.
- Only the 3 m stacker has adjustable forks, from 67 cm out to 72 cm. If you handle more than one pallet pattern, that adjustment is the feature worth the money.
- Lowered fork height is the figure nobody checks and it is the one that stops the job. 85 mm, 80 mm, 8 cm, 8.5 cm and 9 cm across these six machines. If the pallet's bottom board sits lower than the fork, the fork will not go in.
Lift height against your racking
Measure to the top of the beam you have to put the pallet on, then add the pallet height. That is the figure the mast has to beat.
- Up to 20 cm: either electric pallet jack, 289.000 KD or 689.000 KD. Floor-to-floor movement only.
- Up to 900 mm: the scissor lift table cart at 105.000 KD, for bench and tailgate height, 300 kg.
- Up to 1.6 m: the 1 tonne stacker at 399.000 KD. A single-stage mast with a 500 mm load centre and a hydraulic side shifter, which lets you nudge the forks sideways to line up with a beam instead of re-driving the machine.
- Up to 3 m: the 2 tonne stand-on stacker at 1,599.000 KD. It lifts at 80 mm/s under full load and lowers at 150 mm/s, on a 2.2 kW lifting motor and a 1.5 kW drive motor.
Also measure your ceiling and your door. The 3 m stacker is 183 cm high with the mast down, and the 1.6 m one 210 cm — so the taller-lifting machine is the shorter machine at rest. A low door lintel or a sprinkler line decides this more often than the racking does.
Aisle turning radius: the number that rules out the machine you wanted
A stacker that cannot turn in your aisle is no use however high it lifts.
| Machine | Turning radius | Overall width | Overall length |
|---|---|---|---|
| Electric stacker, 1.6 m, 399.000 KD | 900 mm | 94 cm | 143 cm |
| Electric pallet jack, 289.000 / 689.000 KD | 153 cm | 55 cm across the forks | 190 cm, 240 cm with the pedal out |
| Electric stacker, 3 m, 1,599.000 KD | 180 cm | 90 cm | 215 cm |
The 1 tonne machine at 399.000 KD states a 94 cm working aisle width and a 900 mm turning radius on a 900 mm wheelbase — the tightest in the range, and the reason it suits a shop stockroom or a container-sized store rather than a warehouse. The 3 m stacker needs 180 cm to turn, and its wheelbase is 140 cm, with 70 × 80 mm front load wheels and 75 × 230 mm rear wheels.
Measure your narrowest point, which is rarely the aisle itself. It is usually a doorway, the gap beside a pillar, or the turn out of a lift lobby.
If the load is not on a pallet, you do not want forks
Forks need something to go under. For a box, a drum, a crate or a bale, a flat deck is the right tool and it costs a fraction as much.
| Trolley | Rating | Deck or size | Price from |
|---|---|---|---|
| Foldable platform trolley | 100 kg | Folding handle | 6.950 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 150 kg | Reinforced steel | 14.450 KD |
| Two-wheel sack truck | 150 kg | PU wheels | 15.250 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 300 kg | 90 × 60 × 87 cm, PU wheels | 18.450 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 300 or 400 kg | Blue | 25.000 KD |
| Stainless 304 platform trolley | 300 kg | 90 × 60 × 88 cm | 37.000 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 150 kg | 740 × 480 mm deck | 39.750 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 1000 kg | 110 × 65 cm deck | 62.000 KD |
| Foldable platform trolley | 300 kg | 910 × 610 mm deck | 70.000 KD |
| Cage trolley / roll container | 500 kg | 850 × 670 × 1730 mm | 109.750 KD |
| Cage trolley with a door | 500 kg | 850 × 670 × 1730 mm | 120.000 KD |
| Electric stair-climbing trolley | 400 kg | 122 × 65 × 58 cm, 55 kg, 1000 W | 189.950 KD |
Two notes worth having. PU wheels on the 300 kg trolley and the two-wheel sack truck roll quietly and do not mark a tiled or epoxy floor, which is why they are the usual choice for a shop floor or a lift. And the stair-climbing trolley at 189.950 KD is the only machine here that goes up steps — 400 kg on a 48 V lithium battery and a 1000 W motor, for deliveries into buildings without a goods lift. Everything else is in hand trolleys and platform trucks.
Lifting straight up: hoists and chain blocks
Pallet handling moves a load across a floor. Two other machines move it vertically from a beam:
- Electric hoist, 1050 W, from 49.500 KD. Runs on 220–230 V at 50 Hz. Rated 400 kg on a single hook with 30 m of lift, or 800 kg on a double hook with 15 m — the double reeving halves the height and doubles the load.
- Chain block, 5 tonne, 30.500 KD. No power at all. Internal gearing means a hand pull on the chain raises a load far heavier than the pull itself.
A hoist needs something rated to hang it from. The beam, gantry or trolley is not part of the hoist, and it is the part to get checked.
Weighing what you move
Platform scales live in the same store room as the pallet truck, and they are cheap next to it:
- 150 kg platform scale, from 13.500 KD. A 30 × 40 cm platform.
- 300 kg platform scale, from 17.500 KD. A 40 × 50 cm platform.
- 500 kg platform scale, from 25.000 KD. A 45 × 60 cm platform.
- 1.5 tonne at 130.000 KD, 2 tonne at 145.000 KD and 5 tonne at 185.000 KD. Pallet-sized floor scales.
Match the platform to the footprint of what you weigh, not to the weight alone: a 300 kg drum standing on a 30 × 40 cm plate is a balance problem as well as a capacity one. All of these are in warehouse equipment.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a pallet truck cost in Kuwait?
A manual hand pallet truck starts at 75.000 KD for 3 tonnes on 550 × 1200 mm forks, and 90.000 KD buys the wide-fork version at 685 × 1220 mm in 3, 4 and 5 tonne ratings. An electric pallet jack starts at 289.000 KD.
What is the difference between a pallet truck and a stacker?
Lift height. A pallet truck raises the forks from about 85 mm to 195 mm — only enough to roll a pallet along the floor. A stacker lifts to 1.6 m at 399.000 KD or 3 m at 1,599.000 KD, so it can put a pallet on racking. No pallet truck can stack at any price.
How much does an electric forklift cost in Kuwait?
399.000 KD for a 1 tonne electric stacker lifting to 1.6 m on a 48 V lithium battery, and 1,599.000 KD for a 2 tonne stand-on stacker lifting to 3 m on a 24 V 150 Ah lithium battery. Electric pallet jacks that move but do not stack are 289.000 KD and 689.000 KD.
What fork length do I need for a pallet?
Match the fork to the pallet depth. Our forks are 1150 mm, 1200 mm and 1220 mm long. Width across the forks matters just as much: 550 mm suits the standard footprint used in most stores in Kuwait and 685 mm is for wider bearers, while the 3 m stacker adjusts from 67 cm out to 72 cm.
How wide an aisle does an electric stacker need?
The 1 tonne 1.6 m stacker states a 94 cm aisle width and a 900 mm turning radius. The electric pallet jacks need 153 cm to turn, and the 2 tonne 3 m stacker needs 180 cm and is 90 cm wide and 215 cm long. Measure your narrowest doorway, not the aisle.
What lifts 500 kg in a workshop without a forklift?
Nothing in this range lifts 500 kg to height on the floor, but a 5 tonne chain block at 30.500 KD or a 1050 W electric hoist from 49.500 KD will raise it vertically from a rated beam — 400 kg on a single hook over 30 m, or 800 kg on a double hook over 15 m. For 300 kg up to bench height, the scissor lift table cart at 105.000 KD raises an 80 × 50 cm deck from 290 mm to 900 mm.
Can a trolley carry a pallet?
No. A flat deck has nothing to slide under the pallet. Trolleys carry loose loads instead, from 100 kg at 6.950 KD up to 1000 kg at 62.000 KD on a 110 × 65 cm deck. A 500 kg cage trolley measuring 850 × 670 × 1730 mm is 109.750 KD, or 120.000 KD with a door.
Do you deliver forklifts across Kuwait?
Yes, we deliver across Kuwait, and the 2 tonne 3 m stacker's page lists free delivery, operator training at handover and locally held spare parts. The machines weigh 175 kg, 465 kg and 590 kg, so tell us the access at your end when you order.
