G clamps, F clamps and quick-release bar clamps for holding timber, metal and glued joints still while you work. A small G clamp or bar clamp is 1.000 KD, an F clamp starts at 0.950 KD, and the biggest F clamp here opens to 500 mm for 3.250 KD. Everything here is in stock except the 90° corner clamp and the 12" ratchet bar clamp.

Which clamp is right for you?

Type Best for Price
F clamp, 50 x 150 mm up to 120 x 500 mm The all-round choice — the sliding arm covers a wide range of thicknesses, so one clamp fits many jobs 0.950–3.500 KD by size
Industrial F clamp, 50 x 150 mm up to 120 x 500 mm The same four useful sizes in a heavier pattern, for repeated site use 1.250–3.250 KD by size
G clamp, 3", 4", 6" and 8" Squeezing two flat pieces hard together in one spot — the strongest grip per dinar here 1.000 KD (3") · 1.350 KD (4") · 2.250 KD (6") · 3.000 KD (8")
G clamp, 100 mm and 150 mm The same idea in metric sizes, if those are the openings you need 1.500 KD (100 mm) · 2.500 KD (150 mm)
Quick bar grip clamp, 63 x 150, 63 x 300 or 63 x 450 mm One-handed work — squeeze the trigger and it holds, so your other hand stays on the workpiece 1.000 KD · 1.250 KD · 1.500 KD
Quick ratchet bar clamp, 6" and 24" Longer spans — holding a panel or a frame closed while the glue goes off 1.000–2.000 KD by size

Out of stock at the moment: the 90° right-angle corner clamp, and the 12" size of the ratchet bar clamp — ask us about availability.

What you get for what you spend

  • 0.950–1.350 KD — one clamp: a 50 x 150 mm F clamp at 0.950 KD, a 3" G clamp or a 150 mm bar grip clamp at 1.000 KD, a 4" G clamp at 1.350 KD.
  • 1.450–1.750 KD — the middle sizes: a 50 x 250 mm F clamp at 1.450 KD, a 450 mm bar grip clamp at 1.500 KD, an 80 x 300 mm F clamp at 1.750 KD.
  • 2.250–3.000 KD — a 6" or 8" G clamp, or a 120 x 300 mm F clamp at 2.750 KD.
  • 3.250–3.500 KD — the largest F clamp, 120 x 500 mm.
  • Around 4 KD — four small clamps, which is a far more useful buy than one large one for most gluing and assembly work.

Buying tips

  • Buy more than one. A single clamp holds a point; a glued joint needs pressure at both ends or it opens as it dries. Four 50 x 150 mm F clamps cost 3.800 KD.
  • G clamp or F clamp? A G clamp screws down hard in one spot and does not let go — best where you need real pressure. An F clamp's arm slides along the bar, so one clamp covers everything from 50 mm to its full reach. If you can only buy one type, buy F clamps.
  • Bar grip clamps are for your spare hand. You squeeze a trigger and it holds. Less force than a screw clamp, but you can place it while holding the work, which is often the whole problem.
  • Read the two numbers. On an F clamp, 120 x 500 mm means 120 mm of throat depth and 500 mm of opening. Deep throat reaches in from the edge; long opening handles thick stacks. They are not the same thing.
  • Put scrap between the jaw and the work. A steel clamp jaw dents softwood and marks finished surfaces. Two offcuts cost nothing and save the piece.
  • Do not over-tighten on thin material. A G clamp can bow sheet metal and crush plywood edges. Tighten until the joint closes, then stop.
  • Need the work held still at bench height instead? That is a bench vice — from 3.500 KD, bolted to the bench, for sawing, filing and drilling.

FAQs

How much is a clamp in Kuwait?

0.950 KD for a 50 x 150 mm F clamp, 1.000 KD for a 3" G clamp or a 150 mm quick bar grip clamp. Mid sizes are 1.250–1.750 KD, a 6" G clamp is 2.250 KD, an 8" is 3.000 KD, and the largest F clamp (120 x 500 mm) is 3.250 KD.

How many clamps do I need?

For a glued joint, at least two — one at each end — and four if the piece is long or wants to twist. Small F clamps at 0.950 KD each make that affordable, which is why most people buy clamps in fours rather than buying one big one.

What is the difference between a G clamp and an F clamp?

A G clamp is a fixed steel frame with a screw: very strong, but it only fits the one range of thicknesses. An F clamp has a sliding arm on a flat bar, so the same clamp works on a 20 mm board and a 200 mm stack. G clamps here are 1.000–3.000 KD and F clamps 0.950–3.500 KD.

Do you have a corner clamp for 90° joints?

We stock one, the 90° right-angle corner clamp at 2.000 KD, but it is out of stock at the moment — ask us about availability. In the meantime, two F clamps and a square offcut will hold a corner square well enough for most box and frame work.

Also useful: the full hand tools range, bench vices for work held at the bench, and pliers including locking pliers for gripping small parts.
