What you get for what you spend

  • Under 1 KD — the tools most gardens actually need first: a 180 mm or 355 mm pruning saw at 0.850 KD, and gloves from 0.500 KD.
  • 1.450–1.750 KD — a 14" pruning saw, a 10" folding saw, or a 24" hedge shear.
  • 3.000–4.950 KD — reach: the 30" lopping shear for branches above your head, or the telescopic hedge shear.
  • 17.500–20.500 KD — the three cordless machines, each supplied with two batteries: leaf blower from 17.500 KD, grass trimmer from 18.000 KD, hedge trimmer 20.500 KD.

Out of stock at the moment, so not listed above: hand pruning shears and secateurs in every pattern we carry, the cordless pruning shear, and both lawn mowers — the 18" 7HP petrol mower and the cordless mower. Ask us about availability; the grass trimmer above is in stock and does most of what a small mower does.

Buying tips

  • Match the tool to the thickness, not to the plant. Shears for soft growth, loppers once a branch is thicker than a finger, a saw once the loppers start to crush instead of cut. Trying to force a shear through a branch is how shears bend.
  • Buy reach before you buy power. Most garden jobs in Kuwait fail on reach, not on cutting. The 30" lopper at 3.000 KD or the telescopic shear at 4.950 KD will do more for you than a bigger machine, and for anything higher you want a ladder rather than a longer tool.
  • A folding saw survives a car boot. The 10" folding saw at 1.500 KD closes on itself, so the teeth do not chew through the bag — or your hand — between jobs.
  • Cordless means two batteries here. The hedge trimmer, grass trimmer and leaf blower each come with two 21V-class battery packs, so one charges while you work. That is the practical difference from a single-battery tool, not the headline voltage.
  • A trimmer is not a mower. A line trimmer cuts grass at whatever height you hold it and gets into edges, around trees and along walls. A mower cuts flat at a set height across open lawn. If you have real lawn, you want both — and the mowers are out of stock at the moment.
  • Prune in the cool part of the day and keep the blade clean between plants. Sap dries hard on a saw blade and a sticky blade drags.
  • Wear gloves with a saw. PVC gloves at 0.500 KD for sap and thorns; cut-resistant gloves at 0.750 KD when you are handling the blade itself.

FAQs

How much is a grass cutting machine in Kuwait?

The cordless grass trimmer with two batteries is from 18.000 KD. It cuts grass and weeds and reaches edges, around trees and along walls. Push lawn mowers — the 18" 7HP petrol mower and the cordless mower — are out of stock at the moment; ask us about availability.

Do you have pruning shears?

Not at the moment — every pattern we carry, including the cordless one, is out of stock. Ask us about availability. For branches thicker than a finger the 30" lopping shear at 3.000 KD is in stock and is the better tool anyway, and for anything thicker again a pruning saw from 0.850 KD.

Which pruning saw should I buy?

For most gardens, the 180 mm saw at 0.850 KD — short, light and easy to use one-handed on a ladder. Take the 355 mm back saw, also 0.850 KD, if you cut thicker limbs and want a stiffer blade, the 14" at 1.450 KD if you want a full-size handle, or the 10" folding saw at 1.500 KD if it lives in the car.

Is a cordless hedge trimmer worth it over hand shears?

It depends on how much hedge you have. A 24" hedge shear is 1.750 KD and does a neat job on a short run. The cordless hedge trimmer is 20.500 KD and comes with two batteries, which is what you want once trimming by hand turns into an afternoon's work.

What do you have for clearing leaves and cuttings?

The cordless leaf blower, 21V with two batteries, from 17.500 KD. There are more models in cordless air blowers.
