What to check before buying

The tyre pressure gun does not inflate the tyre. This is the thing people get wrong on this page. It is a gauge with a chuck on the end, so it reads and sets pressure from an air supply you already have. If you want something that puts air in, that is a compressor — see car air compressors.
Puncture kit before anything else in the boot. At 1.650 KD it is the cheapest useful thing here, and it is the one that gets you off the hard shoulder. Pair it with a pressure gun at 1.750 KD and you can plug the tyre and set it correctly afterwards.
Hand pump or cordless pump? The 16 L hand pump at 16.000 KD has nothing to charge and nothing to fail, which suits a drum you empty twice a year. The rechargeable 800 W pump at 22.000 KD is six dinars more and takes the lever work out, which pays for itself quickly in a workshop emptying drums weekly.
A plastic welder is for the repairs people assume mean a new part. At 5.000 KD and 50 W it rejoins cracked bumper plastic, trim and the small mounting tabs that snap off panels — the sort of break that otherwise turns into a panel order.
Grease gun: check the nipples you are greasing. Bring one of the fittings in with you if you can, or a photo of it, so we can check the coupler matches before you leave with it.
