Hand and foot pumps for putting air in by hand, plus one pump for getting liquid out of a drum: bicycle and motorcycle hand pumps, foot pumps with a 50 mm barrel, a hand pump with a pressure gauge built in, and an aluminium rotary pump for petrol, oil and chemicals. Prices run from 1.350 KD for a 58 PSI bicycle hand pump to 8.000 KD for the aluminium drum pump, and all five are in stock.
Which pump is right for you?
| Pump | Best for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Hand pump, 58 PSI | A bike or motorcycle tyre, pumped where there is no power and nothing to plug into | 1.350 KD |
| Foot pump, 6 bar / 87 psi | Using your leg instead of your arm — more air per stroke than a hand pump | 1.500 KD |
| Hand pump with gauge, 6 bar / 87 psi | Pumping to a number rather than by feel | 2.000 KD |
| Foot pump, second model | The other foot pump in the range. No pressure rating is recorded for it, so ask us or see it in the showroom before you choose between the two | 3.000 KD |
| Aluminium rotary drum pump | Drawing petrol, diesel, oil or chemicals out of a drum — this one moves liquid, it does not inflate | 8.000 KD |
The five pumps and what they cost
- Portable hand pump for a bike or motorcycle, 58 PSI — 1.350 KD, the lowest-priced of the five and small enough to keep in a bag or under a seat.
- Portable foot pump, 6 bar / 87 psi — 1.500 KD. 50 mm barrel, and it comes with an American nozzle and a French nozzle.
- Hand pump with a pressure gauge, 50 mm barrel — 2.000 KD. Same 6 bar / 87 psi rating and the same pair of nozzles as the foot pump, with the gauge on the pump so you can read the pressure as you work.
- Portable foot pump — 3.000 KD. We have no published pressure figure for this one, so if the number matters, take the 1.500 KD foot pump instead.
- Aluminium rotary drum pump for petrol, oil and chemicals — 8.000 KD. A hand-cranked transfer pump that sits in the bung of a drum.
Nothing on this page is out of stock at the moment — all five are on the shelf.
Choosing between them
- Foot or hand? A foot pump lets you stand on it and use your leg and body weight, so you get more air per stroke and your arms last longer. A hand pump is smaller and lives in a bag. At 1.500 KD against 1.350 KD the price barely separates them, so pick on where you will use it.
- Check the nozzle before you buy. The 1.500 KD foot pump and the 2.000 KD gauge pump are both supplied with an American nozzle and a French nozzle, which is what the two common bicycle valve types need.
- 58 PSI and 87 psi are the pumps' ceilings, not targets. Pump to the number printed on the tyre wall, not to the top of the pump's range.
- Pay the extra 0.650 KD for the gauge if you are setting pressure on anything where it matters. The 1.350 KD hand pump has no gauge; the 2.000 KD one does.
- The drum pump is not an inflator. It is a rotary transfer pump in aluminium, for moving fuel, oil or chemicals out of a barrel. If you want air, it is one of the other four.
- Want it done by motor? See car air compressors for electric inflators that run off the car.

FAQs
How much is a bicycle pump in Kuwait?
A portable hand pump rated 58 PSI is 1.350 KD. A hand pump with a built-in pressure gauge and a 50 mm barrel is 2.000 KD. Foot pumps are 1.500 KD and 3.000 KD. All four are in stock at the Shuwaikh showroom.
What pressure do these pumps reach?
The portable bike and motorcycle hand pump is rated 58 PSI. The 1.500 KD foot pump and the 2.000 KD gauge hand pump are both rated 6 bar, which is 87 psi, on a 50 mm barrel. No pressure rating is recorded for the 3.000 KD foot pump.
Will these pumps fit my valve?
The 1.500 KD foot pump and the 2.000 KD hand pump both come with an American nozzle and a French nozzle, so they cover both of the usual bicycle valve types. If you are inflating something unusual, bring it to the showroom and we will try it on the pump.
Do you sell a pump for water?
Yes, but not on this page. Electric surface, submersible and petrol water pumps are in water pumps, starting at 9.950 KD. The 8.000 KD aluminium pump on this page is a hand-cranked drum pump for petrol, oil and chemicals, not a water supply pump.
Can I inflate a car tyre with a foot pump?
Yes — the 1.500 KD foot pump is rated to 6 bar / 87 psi, which is well above what a car tyre takes. It is hard work for four tyres, which is why most people buying for a car take an electric inflator from car air compressors instead.
