The four in detail

  • PE funnel — 0.750 KD. Polyethylene, supplied across a 130 mm to 350 mm size range.
  • Exhaust fan, 8 inch — 2.650 KD. 16 W, 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz, 1920 rpm. The 6-inch version of the same fan is out of stock, so the 8-inch is the one to order. Only four are on the shelf.

  • Soda maker, stainless steel — 24.950 KD. A 1 litre bottle and a filled CO2 cylinder in the box, a stainless steel housing, an adjustable manual lever, a pure-water and a drinks mode, a pressure limiting device and a detachable rinsable carbonation head. Buying guidance

  • Measure the hole before you buy the fan. We stock 6-inch and 8-inch, but only the 8-inch is in stock. Both are 16 W at 1920 rpm, so the size is about the opening and the airflow, not the motor.
  • The soda maker needs no socket. It is driven entirely by the CO2 cylinder and the lever, so it can live anywhere on a worktop. The cylinder comes filled, and the carbonation head detaches to rinse.
  • Check the ceiling height for the rack. 180 cm plus the clearance to lift something onto the top shelf is more than most people allow for. The 90 cm width is the useful number if you are fitting it between two walls.
