Heat guns for softening adhesive, shrinking sleeving, bending plastic pipe, stripping paint and thawing a seized fitting. Four of the five are in stock: three corded 2000 W guns at 4.950, 5.450 and 9.000 KD, and a cordless 20 V gun at 15.000 KD. The one with the widest temperature range, 60 to 600 degrees C, is also the one that costs least.

Which heat gun is right for you?

Gun Best for Price

2000 W, plain The everyday gun. 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz, and the one we hold most of 5.450 KD
2000 W with a digital display, 250 / 500 L/min Reading the setting off a screen, and two airflow speeds. Comes as a kit with nozzle protection 9.000 KD
Cordless, 20 V, 300 W, digital display Working away from a socket — on a roof, in a riser, inside a vehicle 15.000 KD

The four in stock, in detail

  • 2000 W variable-temperature heat gun — 4.950 KD. 60 °C to 600 °C across two settings, 220 V, drawing 7.5 A. This is the one to buy if you work on anything that can be damaged by too much heat, and it is also the lowest price on the page. 18 in stock.
  • 2000 W heat gun — 5.450 KD. 2000 W on 220–240 V at 50–60 Hz. No temperature range is recorded for this one, so if the number matters take the 4.950 KD gun instead. 96 in stock — the one we always have.
  • 2000 W heat gun with a digital display — 9.000 KD. AC 220–240 V, 2000 W, and two airflow speeds at 250 and 500 litres per minute. Supplied as a kit with nozzle protection. Only four on the shelf.
  • Cordless heat gun, 20 V — 15.000 KD. 300 W output on a 20 V battery, with a digital display. 300 W against 2000 W is the trade: it is slower and gentler than any of the corded guns, and it works where there is no socket. 7 in stock.

Out of stock at the moment: the 2000 W gun with fixed 480 °C and 560 °C steps and 250 / 380 L/min airflow. We are not quoting a price for it — ask us about availability.

Choosing one

  • Variable temperature is worth 0.500 KD less, not more. The 60–600 °C gun is 4.950 KD and the plain one is 5.450 KD. If you are working near plastic, vinyl or paint you want the range, and here it is also the cheaper option.
  • Airflow matters as much as heat. 250 L/min concentrates on a small area; 500 L/min covers more ground but is harder to control around an edge. Only the 9.000 KD gun gives you both.
  • Cordless is 300 W, not 2000 W. Do not buy the 15.000 KD cordless gun expecting corded performance. Buy it because the job is up a ladder or inside a car, where a cable is the problem.
  • Check what the plastic can take before you start. Three of these guns do not publish a maximum temperature, and 600 °C will mark most things. Start on the lower setting.
  • Working with adhesive or sealant? Heat softens most of it. See super glue, silicone sealant and adhesives.
  • Want the rest of the power tool range? Power tools has 157 products, and cordless power tools is where the 20 V battery platform lives.

FAQs

How much is a heat gun in Kuwait?

4.950 KD for a 2000 W gun adjustable from 60 to 600 °C, 5.450 KD for a plain 2000 W gun, 9.000 KD for a 2000 W gun with a digital display and two airflow speeds, and 15.000 KD for a 20 V cordless gun. All four are in stock.

What temperature do they reach?

The 4.950 KD gun runs from 60 °C to 600 °C across two settings, drawing 7.5 A at 220 V. The out-of-stock model has fixed 480 °C and 560 °C steps. No temperature range is published for the 5.450 KD or 9.000 KD guns, so if you need a number, the 4.950 KD one is the gun to buy.

Is the cordless one as powerful as the corded guns?

No, and not close. The cordless gun is 300 W on a 20 V battery; the three corded guns are 2000 W. Buy the cordless one for places a cable cannot reach, not for faster work.

What is the airflow?

The 9.000 KD gun with the digital display gives 250 or 500 litres per minute. The out-of-stock model gives 250 or 380 L/min. No airflow figure is recorded for the 4.950 KD or 5.450 KD guns.

Which one has the most in stock?

The plain 2000 W gun at 5.450 KD — we hold that one in quantity. The 9.000 KD digital-display gun is down to four, so call before travelling for it.

Also useful: power tools, cordless power tools, and super glue, silicone sealant and adhesives.
