Which one do you need?
- Looking for a cordless drill or driver? This is the wrong page. Battery drills, impact drivers and cordless screwdrivers are in cordless drills and screwdrivers, which is where most people arrive here looking for. This page is cutting tools that happen to run on batteries.
- Scissor or rotary cutter? The 7.750 KD electric scissor cuts one layer at a time and goes in a drawer — it is for someone who cuts cloth or packaging often enough that hand shears tire them. The 24.950 KD rotary cutter spins a 70 mm wheel through a stack up to 25 mm thick, which is a production tool: it only makes sense if you are cutting several layers laid together.
- A round blade follows a curve; a straight blade does not. That is the whole reason a rotary cutter exists for pattern work. It also means the blade is exposed, so it goes back in its guard between cuts.
- The hydraulic cable cutter is a specialist's tool, not a general buy. At 101.450 KD it is for electrical contractors and utility crews terminating heavy cable regularly. - Two batteries, and they are not shared. The rotary cutter runs 12V and the hydraulic cutter 18V, each supplied with two packs so one charges while the other works. The scissor has its own 3.6V battery and charger.
- Buying the clipper blade? It is a consumable for a shearing handpiece and it is sold on its own. Bring your clipper or the old blade to the showroom so we can match the comb before you buy — the clipper itself is out of stock at the moment.
