Cut heavy cable cleanly, one-handed, without a hacksaw or a hydraulic hand pump. This cordless cutter delivers 60kN of hydraulic force through a hardened alloy steel scissor head, shearing armoured copper and aluminium cable and ACSR conductor up to 75 mm in diameter. The cut is square and the strands stay together, so the conductor is ready to terminate rather than needing dressing first.

Everything runs off an 18V 4.0Ah lithium battery, so it works in a trench, up a pole, or inside a substation with no generator and no hoses to drag. The pistol grip and 3.75 kg body let one person operate it in confined spaces where a two-handed tool simply will not fit, and the C-shaped jaw opens wide enough to drop over a cable already in place instead of threading it through.
