What to check before buying

• Aluminium or steel decides who carries it. The 14.500 KD table is aluminium and the bigger of the two at 40 × 15 × 35 inches. If it is going to be carried any distance from the car, that is the one; if it is going in a boot and out again at the same spot, the 7.000 KD table does the job for half the money.
• The bag is not a detail. The 7.000 KD table comes with a carry bag, and a folding table without one is a folding table that gets left behind, scratched or lost. It is the practical difference between the two.
• Check the height against what you will sit on. The aluminium table is 35 inches on its long side as listed; a table bought for standing at and a table bought for sitting at are different purchases, and it is worth putting a chair next to it in the showroom rather than guessing.
• Buying for a camp, not for a car? Two tables at 7.000 KD each cost less than one at 14.500 KD and give you two surfaces. For a group camp that is usually the better answer.
