Work gloves, goggles, helmets, ear defenders, coveralls, boots and harnesses for sites, workshops and warehouses in Kuwait. A pair of palm-coated work gloves is 0.250 KD and goggles start at 0.450 KD, so a worker can be kitted out for under a dinar; a full set with a helmet, a coverall and S1P safety shoes comes to about 10 KD. Gloves, coveralls and shoes are stocked in quantity for site orders.

What to check before buying

  • Match the glove to the surface, not to the price. A coated palm at 0.250 KD a pair grips steel, timber and cardboard and is the right default. A PVC glove at 0.500 KD is the one for wet work. An uncoated cotton glove at 1.000 KD is for clean, light handling where a coating would get in the way.
  • Buy gloves by the box, not the pair. They are consumables. At 0.250 KD a pair, a site of ten people goes through more than most managers expect, and we hold them in quantity.
  • Clear or tinted goggles? Clear indoors, tinted outdoors. If you only buy one, buy clear — tinted lenses are hard to work behind in a dark plant room.
  • Coatings earn their 0.100 KD. The difference between the 0.450 KD goggles and the 0.550 KD pair is an anti-fog and anti-scratch coating. In Kuwaiti summer heat the uncoated lens mists, gets wiped, and the wiping is what scratches it.
  • Read the dB rating before you choose ear defenders. 20 dB at 0.950 KD and 34 dB at 1.750 KD are the two on offer; the number is on the product, so pick against the machine you stand next to rather than on price.
  • Safety shoes: get the fitting right, then the size. There are three fittings here — full ankle, low ankle and a no-lace slip-on — all at 5.950 KD in sizes 39 to 46. The fitting matters more than the size for whether people actually wear them, and it is worth trying all three in the showroom.
  • Coveralls: size up for layering. M to 4XL in blue, navy blue and beige. A coverall goes over clothes, so the size that fits like a shirt will not close over a jacket.
  • Kitting out a crew? Give us a head count and the trades rather than a product list. Contact us for site quantities — gloves, coveralls and shoes are the three we hold deepest.

FAQs

How much are work gloves in Kuwait?

A pair of polyurethane palm-coated work gloves is 0.250 KD, PVC gloves are 0.500 KD and cotton gloves are 1.000 KD. All three are in stock in quantity, so site orders are no problem. We do not stock disposable nitrile or latex gloves — everything here is a reusable work glove.

What safety gear does a site worker need?

The usual list is a helmet at 1.500 KD, goggles from 0.450 KD, gloves from 0.250 KD a pair, a coverall at 2.750 KD and S1P safety shoes at 5.950 KD — about 10 KD a person. Add ear defenders at 0.950 KD where there is machinery, and a harness at 5.250 KD for work at height. Which of these your site is required to provide is a question for whoever holds your site permits, not for us.

What size are your safety shoes, and what does S1P mean?

Sizes 39 to 46, all at 5.950 KD, in three fittings: full ankle, low ankle and a slip-on without laces. S1P is the standard printed on the shoe; what it covers is defined by the standard itself, and we would rather point you to it than paraphrase it. Come and try a pair — the fittings differ more than the sizes do.

Do you have welding helmets and goggles?

Yes. The auto-darkening welding helmet is 4.500 KD with a 93 × 43 mm viewing window, a PP shell and a solar cell with a battery. For everything else that goes with it, see welding.

Also useful: hand tools for the tools these go with, and welding for machines, rods and torches.
