What it is for, and what it is not for

With 85 L/min and a 6.5 m coil hose this is a tyre and inflatable compressor you keep in the boot - cars, 4x4s, bike tyres, footballs, air beds. It has no tank, so it is not the machine for running air tools; for that you want a tanked compressor, and for an air line on the wall see the 20 m automatic air hose reel.

The 3.6 m power cord reaches a cigarette-lighter socket from any wheel on most cars. Check that your socket stays live with the engine running before you rely on it.

Will it inflate a 4x4 tyre?

It is rated to 10 bar, which is well above car and 4x4 tyre pressures. Tyre pressure is set by your vehicle's own plate, not by what the compressor can reach.

Two pressure figures appear in the record - which is right?

The product record lists 10 bar, a 150 PSI maximum and a 200 PSI restart figure, and those three do not agree with each other. We quote the 10 bar it is rated at. Ask at the counter before you plan work around a PSI number.

Does it come with a gauge?

The product record lists the three hoses and the cord but no gauge. Ask to see the box contents at the counter.

Can I run it from a 220 V socket?

No. It is a 13.8 V DC unit for a vehicle supply.
