Gasoline Generator 5000W DCA Brand - BAS Kuwait

A petrol-driven generator rated at 5000 W, model AF6500, at 200.000 KD with 9 units in stock. It is bought for sites without a mains connection, for outdoor events and for backup when the supply drops.

What is recorded, and what is not

The product record for this generator holds two figures only: the 5000 W rating and the model code AF6500. There is no engine displacement, no tank capacity, no run time, no socket configuration, no noise figure and no weight. We are not going to put numbers on this page that the record does not contain.

That matters more on a generator than on most products, because the answers decide whether it suits you:

• Tank size and run time - how often someone has to refuel it.
• Socket configuration - how many outlets, and whether any of them is the one your load needs.
• Start method - recoil or electric start.
• Weight and frame - whether two people can lift it into a pickup.

Every one of those can be read off the machine itself at the showroom in a couple of minutes, and the counter will do that with you before you buy. Ask us to run it.

Sizing the load, not the generator

5000 W is the generator's rating. Add up what you intend to plug in, and remember that motors - a pump, a compressor, a saw - draw several times their running figure for a moment at startup, so the total you plan for has to sit well below the rating rather than near it. If you are running a water pump or a site pump off it, bring the pump's plate figures with you.

Questions

How long does it run on a tank?

No tank capacity or run time is recorded, so we cannot tell you from here. The tank is marked on the machine - ask at the showroom.

Is it petrol or diesel?

Petrol.

Can it run an air-conditioning unit?

That depends entirely on the unit's own startup draw, which is on its plate. Bring the figure and we will work it through with you rather than guess.

Is delivery possible?

Yes, we deliver across Kuwait. It is a two-person item - tell the counter where it is going.
