Your questions, answered
What happens if the battery dies?
The lock warns you when the battery is low. If it runs out, open it with the emergency key, or connect a power bank to give the lock power. Tip: keep the emergency key somewhere outside the house, not inside.
Does it work during a power cut?
Yes. The lock runs on its own batteries, not your home's electricity.
Does the fingerprint work in summer heat?
Our metal door locks are built for Kuwait's heat and are fine on outside doors. Our wooden door locks are made for inside doors, like apartment and bedroom doors, away from direct sun.
Can I let my maid or driver in?
Yes. Create a one-time code or a temporary password in the app and send it to them.
I'm renting. What happens when I move out?
Reset the lock and every code, card and fingerprint is wiped. The next person sets it up fresh.
How long does installation take?
We install within 3 working days of your order. The fitting itself takes 30 to 90 minutes.
Will you damage my door?
For all locks except the F22, we make new holes in the door. The work is professional: no new or old holes are visible afterwards, and your door stays just as secure. The F22 fits your existing holes.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers software faults and hardware faults, including the motor and fingerprint reader, for 12 months (24 months on the F11s).
What happens after the warranty ends?
We still support you: spare parts and technician visits are available for a small charge.
Can it be hacked?
Only people you add can open it, and you can remove anyone's access at any time.
