One double-sided spring mattress in eight widths, plus a quilted waterproof mattress cover and an 8 cm memory foam topper. The mattress has a memory foam layer on one face and a natural latex layer on the other over a spring core, and every width is 25 cm deep and 200 cm long. Prices run from 54.900 KD for the 90 cm width to 109.900 KD for 200 cm. Five of the eight widths are in stock today.

Widths and prices

Every width is 200 cm long and 25 cm deep, with a black cover. The 90, 120, 150, 160 and 190 cm widths are on the floor today. How it is built

• A spring core, with one layer bonded to each face.
• The memory foam face compresses under load and returns slowly.
• The natural latex face is the firmer of the two and returns quickly. Latex has an open-cell structure, so air moves through it more freely than through foam.
• Double-sided, so the mattress can be turned over to put the other layer on top.
• 25 cm deep and 200 cm long in all eight widths.

Before you order

• Measure the inside of the frame, not the outside. Width is the only decision to make, because every size is 200 cm long.
• Buy sheets with 25 cm sides or deeper. A standard fitted sheet will not reach under a 25 cm mattress.
• A topper is not a mattress. The 8 cm memory foam topper goes on top of a mattress you already own and holds on with four elastic corner bands. It is out of stock at the moment.
• The waterproof cover is cut for 25 cm. The quilted bamboo-blend cover is sized to a 25 cm mattress and is supplied with two pillows. Out of stock at the moment.
• Come and lie on both sides. The two faces are different, so this is one product worth trying at the showroom before you pick which way up it arrives.

How much does a double mattress cost in Kuwait?

At Bab Al-Saif a 150 × 200 cm double is 82.900 KD and a 160 × 200 cm is 89.900 KD, both 25 cm deep and double-sided. A 90 × 200 cm single is 54.900 KD.

What is the difference between the two faces?

One face is memory foam and the other is natural latex, over the same spring core. The latex face is the firmer of the two and returns to shape quickly; its open-cell structure lets air move through it more freely than foam does. The memory foam face compresses more under load and returns slowly. Turning the mattress over puts the other layer on top.

How deep is it, and will my sheets fit?

25 cm deep and 200 cm long in every width. A fitted sheet needs sides of 25 cm or more to reach under it.

Do you sell a mattress protector or a topper?

Both are listed and both are out of stock at the moment: a quilted waterproof cover in a bamboo-blend fabric, cut for a 25 cm mattress and supplied with two pillows, and an 8 cm memory foam topper with four elastic corner bands in 180 × 200 and 200 × 200 cm. Ask us about availability.
