Extension Cord reel 25 meter / 50 meter - BAS Kuwait

An extension cord on a reel, for taking power out to a job and winding it back afterwards. The 25 metre reel is 10.950 KD with 72 in stock. The 50 metre reel (16.950 KD) is out of stock today.

What is recorded

Two lengths, 25 m and 50 m, and nothing else. No conductor size, socket count, current rating, plug type or cable type is recorded against this product, and we are not going to invent any of them. On an extension reel those are the facts that decide whether it is safe for your load, so:

• Bring the tool or appliance's wattage to the counter, or
• Come and read the rating plate on the reel itself - it is printed on the drum.

Getting those figures onto this product record is the single most useful thing that could be done for this page.

Using a reel safely, whatever its rating

Two rules apply to every cord reel regardless of specification. First, unwind the cable you are using - a coiled cable under load heats up inside the drum, and most reels carry a lower rating when wound than when fully out. Second, keep the drum and the socket end dry and off wet ground.

If what you want is a fixed air line rather than power, see the 20 m automatic air hose reel.

Questions

How many amps will it take?

No current rating is recorded. Read the drum at the showroom before you load it - do not assume.

How many sockets does it have?

Not recorded. Ask at the counter so you can count them yourself.

Is the 50 metre one available?

It is out of stock today. 25 metres is the buyable length.

Can I run a welder or a pressure washer off it?

Bring the machine's wattage and we will check it against the plate on the reel. Without a recorded rating we will not say yes from here.
