A smart lock in Kuwait costs between 25 KD and 85 KD at Bab Al-Saif, plus 7–20 KD if you want our technicians to install it. Where your lock falls in that range depends mostly on how you want to open the door: fingerprint and code, face recognition, or a camera that lets you see who is outside.

Whatever you spend, every lock we sell comes with backup keys, a USB emergency power port for when the battery runs flat, and room for up to 100 users. You are paying for extra ways to open the door and extra convenience, not for those basics.
Essential smart locks: 25–35 KD
This is where most people start. For 25 to 35 KD you get a lock that opens with a fingerprint, a PIN code or a key card, and most models in this range also connect to a phone app so you can add and remove users. The F22 at 25 KD and the QL811 at 25–30 KD are made for wooden doors. The K9 at 32 KD suits metal and aluminium doors and works over Wi-Fi. At the top of this range, the R06 rim lock (35 KD) mounts on the surface of the door, and there is a dedicated lock for glass doors (35 KD).
If you simply want to stop carrying keys, or you need to give access to a driver, housekeeper or tenants and cancel it later, an essential lock does the job.
Face recognition locks: 50–55 KD
Paying around 20 KD more adds face recognition. You walk up to the door and it opens, which is handy when your hands are full or for family members who find codes a hassle. The J03 (50 KD) connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and uses a rechargeable battery. The A9x (55 KD) connects over Bluetooth and fits both wooden and metal doors. Video intercom locks: 70–85 KD
At the top of the range, the lock has a built-in camera and works as a video intercom. When someone rings, you see them on your phone and can talk to them, even when you are not at home. The A9pro (70 KD) adds palm recognition to face and fingerprint. The S09 (85 KD) has two cameras, a front panel built for humidity and water, and two 6000 mAh batteries, which makes it a good match for villa entrances and outside doors.
What changes the price of a smart lock?
- How it opens. Fingerprint, code and card are standard. Face recognition, palm recognition and a camera each add to the price.
- Video intercom. A lock with a camera is really two devices in one: a lock and a door viewer. That is the biggest single jump in price.
- Connection. Wi-Fi lets you manage the lock from anywhere; Bluetooth works when your phone is near the door. Some models have both.
- Power. Locks with a rechargeable battery or large-capacity batteries usually cost more than ones that take standard batteries.

How much does installation cost?
Installation by our technicians costs 7–20 KD. The lower end is for a straightforward door where the lock fits the existing opening; the higher end is for doors that need more preparation.
