Digital Fingerprint Drawer Safe Leather Finish 460x410x155mm - BAS Kuwait

A safe that doesn't look like one. This unit fits inside existing furniture — under a bedside table, inside a wardrobe, beneath a reception counter — and pulls out like an ordinary drawer. Nothing on show, nothing bolted to a wall, and nothing that tells a visitor where your valuables are kept.

It opens two ways. A fingerprint reader stores up to 40 prints, so family members or staff can be enrolled individually, and the backlit touch keypad holds up to 10 separate passcodes as a backup. An English voice prompt confirms each action, which makes it far easier to use in the dark than a silent keypad. The drawer glides on ball-bearing runners and comes with a moulded compartment tray to keep documents, watches, cash and jewellery separated rather than piled together.

Measures 460 × 410 × 155 mm, with a black exterior and a grey interior. Runs on AA batteries — batteries are not supplied. Well suited to homes, hotel rooms, offices, clinics, and retail back-counters.

Using it, and getting back in

• The factory passcode is 1234. Change it the first time you use it, before anything goes inside.
• If the batteries go flat while it is locked, there are two ways in rather than one: the emergency key, and an external power contact on the outside.
• Too many wrong entries and the keypad stops accepting them for a few minutes, then allows retries.
• The reset button is inside, so you can only reach it when it is already open. It is there to change your code, not to get you back in when you are locked out.
