Working out how long a bottle lasts

This is one of the few diffusers on the site that gives you a consumption figure, so you can do the arithmetic. At 0.03-0.15 ml an hour, a 15 ml bottle runs for about 500 hours at the lowest rate and about 100 hours at the highest - call it between four days and three weeks of continuous running, which in a car used an hour a day is a long time. Oil is sold separately; see the diffuser oil refills.

Because it is waterless it takes neat oil, and because it is rechargeable it does not occupy your 12 V socket permanently. The 45 m³ coverage is well above a car's interior, so it is also usable on a desk or a bathroom shelf - for a room or a hall, the floor-standing 12 W unit is the right size instead.
