A four-item site kit from Bab Al-Saif - gloves, goggles, a helmet and boots - comes to 8.150 KD. Work gloves are 0.250 KD a pair, safety goggles 0.450 KD, a helmet 1.500 KD and S1P boots 5.950 KD. Add a coverall at 2.750 KD and you are at 10.900 KD a man.
Twenty-one items sit in the safety equipment range here, from 0.250 KD to 5.950 KD, and this page adds the two welding masks that live with the welding machines. This page lists what each one is, what it is made of, what it measures and what standard its own record states - and nothing else. For what any item does or does not do, read the labelling that comes with it.

Sizing, which is the part people get wrong by post
- Shoes: 39 to 46, in three lasts. The record lists each size three times under the codes FA, LA and WL - 24 options in all, every one at 5.950 KD. It does not say what the three letters mean, so if you are ordering for a crew, come in and try one pair from each before you commit to forty.
- Coveralls: M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL and 4XL, in blue, navy blue and beige. Eighteen combinations, all 2.750 KD, so colour is a free choice and you can run one colour per trade.
- Gloves: the 10 inch figure is a length, 250 mm. At 45 g a pair they are the lightest glove here. The riding gloves are 24 cm. Neither the PVC nor the cotton glove records a size at all.
- Helmets: five colours in one listing, two in another, all 1.500 KD. Site convention in Kuwait usually runs colour by role, and with five colours at one price you can set that up without a cost argument.
Welding: a hand mask at 1.500 KD or an auto-darkening helmet at 4.500 KD
Three options, and the difference is mechanical rather than a matter of degree.
- Welding mask with a handle, 1.500 KD. You hold it up with one hand. Glass 108 x 50 x 3 mm.
- Welding mask with movable glass, 2.000 KD. Head-worn, and the glass panel lifts so you can look at the work without taking the mask off. Same 108 x 50 x 3 mm glass.
- Auto-darkening welding helmet, 4.500 KD. Optical grade 1/1/1/2, a 93 x 43 mm viewing window, and power from a solar cell plus a replaceable lithium cell. It stays on your head throughout, which is why it costs three times the hand mask.
Add a mask to a welding set-up from welding machines and accessories and the kit is complete. Ear defenders at 0.950 KD or 1.750 KD and goggles at 0.450 KD are the two additions here under 2.000 KD.

Those totals are the sum of the figures on this page, read live today. Buying forty of each is a counter conversation rather than a web order, and the showroom is the place for it.
What the standards on the labels say - and where to read them
Two items here state a standard in their own record, and we quote them as stated and no further:
- The 0.450 KD safety goggles record CE to EN166, with a high-impact polycarbonate lens and a PVC frame with air holes.
- The 5.950 KD safety shoes record the S1P standard.
What each code covers is set out on the item's own labelling and in the manufacturer's documentation, which comes with it. We are not going to paraphrase a standard on a web page - ask at the counter and we will read the label with you, or bring your specification and we will match it against what the labels say.
Two torches that live in the same collection
Not safety wear, but they sit here because they go in the same bag: a 2 W work lamp at 1.450 KD with a 250 lumen COB panel, a magnetic base, a 180-degree hook, a 360-degree base and an ABS body at 180 g, and a rechargeable flashlight at 2.350 KD on an 18650 cell rated 3.7 V and 1200 mAh. The work lamp runs on three AA cells; the flashlight recharges.
